George Osborne delivered his 8th Budget as Chancellor, stating that this was a budget aimed at helping ‘smaller businesses’ and ‘the next generation’.

His speech contained a number of announcements aimed at helping people save for the future.

For businesses, measure included changes to business rates and abolition of Class 2 national insurance contributions for the self-employed.
