Plan and make a legally valid Will

No one wants to think about their own mortality but planning for your future is important to ensure that your wishes are fully met after you die.

Most people put off writing their will.  A recent YouGov study found that 62% of the UK's adult population did not have a will in 2017.  Read our 'Planning your estate: wills' article to find out why you need a will, how to go about making one and what could happen if you don't. 

With estates above the value of £325,000, or £650,000 for a married couple/civil partnership, inheritance tax may be liable at 40% on the excess.  It would be worthwhile to contact us to discuss your estate planning and tax considerations in advance.
